Science Labs-in-a-Box is an original and unique concept.  Our program enables homeschoolers to do school quality labs using the same equipment and resources that schools across the nation use.  This is also done at a cost that is very affordable.

Our program works like this.  A customer orders a science course for the year.  We send to you a box in the mail containing everything you need to perform four to eight labs depending upon the course you choose.  These are designed to be done over two months.  At the end of the two months, the customer will receive a second box containing all the equipment needed to complete the next two months of labs.  Also included will be a list of items to be returned from the previous box and a prepaid shipping label to return the original box to us via UPS.  Shipping is included in the price of the course.

There are enough materials in each course for two students to complete the labs.  This is convenient for siblings or, if the age difference is too much for the course, the cost can be shared with another homeschooling family.  Another way to reduce your cost is to include a refill kit with your lab.  These consist of additional consumable materials that will enable two additional students to complete the lab using the same equipment.  We feel it is impractical for more than four students to use the same equipment, so we limit purchases of refill kits to one per course.  Using this method, many co-ops reduce their costs of these science labs dramatically.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE LAB COURSES, WHILE VERY GOOD, DO NOT INCLUDE A TEXTBOOK (EXCEPT FOR CHEMISTRY).  It is recommended that you use your own textbook for the day to day science teaching and use our product for the science labs themselves.  Any homeschool curriculum will work with our products.  We suggest you simply review the syllabus of the lab course and align the proper subject area in your book with the syllabus.  For example, if you see that you will be doing a lab on a certain concept at the end of the week, you may wish to cover that particular subject in your textbook prior to completing the lab.  We have students using Bob Jones, Abeka, Apologia, Sonlight and other curriculums on a regular basis.

Most of our courses include three different versions at three different costs.  Please click on each course to see a short summary of the course and links to complete syllabi and complete lists of everything you will receive in each course. 

The course are listed in order from youngest to oldest children although the age recommendations are only suggestions, and many students take the courses out of order or at different ages.  They start at second grade and advance to the junior year of high school.
